Black is Beautiful 2018

The Black is Beautiful project has really evolved and expanded from when it first began. Fellows from the 2018 summer have worked together to organize and host a series of workshop that  create a  includes and informs young people from different ages. By dividing the large workshop format of the past years into four different sections, it has been easier to be in dialogue with young people from different age groups and to get a well-rounded perspective on how colorism affect the young folks in the community.

Here are some photos of the students who have participated in our workshop.
